Need of teachers living and presenting model life – Swami Ramdev

 Haridwar. Teachers` day was celebrated with traditional gusto and enthusiasm in Patanjali University. On the occasion, the Chancellor of Patanjali University Swami Ramdevji and Vice-Chancellor Acharya Balkrishnaji addressed the students of Patanjali University and Ayurveda College. The program began with lightening of lamp. Later, the students of University presented cultural programs including `guru-vandana` and `ish-vandana`.

Court gives relief to Ramdev, jolt to centre

Nanital. The central Government had withheld fresh admission in Ayurvedic medical college being conducted by Patanjali Yogpeeth, led by Baba Ramdev for session 2012-13 but the High Court has revoked the order, terming it as illegal. Hence, the admission process has been restored. The one-member bench of Justice Sudanshu Dhulia conducted the hearing. The advocate representing Medical College told that the Government revengeful for Swami Ramdev’s agitation against black money, has stopped admissions.

Patanjali University begged 3 gold and 1 silver in Yogasan competition

The forth state level Yogasan competition held in Dehradun on September 16, 2013 in which the Yoga department of Patanjali Unviersity, Haridwar won 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal in various competitions of their age-group. Sohanlal, studying PhD in Yoga Science won the gold medal, second year in succession. 

The former student of MA, Yoga Science Sachendra Badoni won silver. The Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, head of the Yoga department and Professors congratulated the winners informed Head of the Department of Yoga Science Professor GD Sharma.
